Has it ever occured to you that when you die, most of your memories die with you unless you write them down for others. This is called "leaving a legacy". I think it's so important for your kids, grandkids and all of your posterity - for generations moving forward, to know a little bit about you and who you were.
I know that writing a personal history can be difficult. But it doesn't have to be. I have created a way for it to be much easier to write and a lot more fun for the readers to read.
Just a little back story…I spent 10 years writing my personal history (still working on it), and through a lot of trial and error I came up with a much easier way to write it. My 88-year old mother just used this process which helped me refine it even more, and now she has a bound-book with all her stories (see below). Her kids and grandkids all have a copy of her book and they expressed that they love reading it because of the way it was written. She claims that she had always wanted to write down the stories of her life so she could leave a legacy, but it seemed too difficult, and now she is a “published author”. She has loved knowing that she will be remembered long after she's gone (which I hope isn't for a long time).

My process has many details, but the basic idea is that it teaches you to write your personal history in short stories, all with their own title. This makes it much easier to write and a lot more fun for the reader too.
