Are you wanting to write your PERSONAL HISTORY but you feel stuck because you still believe what you have always believed…Writing a personal history is just too difficult?

Let me tell you a little story…

A man was passing by an elephant camp, and he noticed that the elephants weren’t being kept in cages.

Instead they were being held captive by only a small rope tied to one of their legs and tethered to a stake in the ground.

It was obvious that the elephants could break away from the rope but they didn’t.

The man asked the trainer why the elephants just stood there captive when they could actually get away.

The trainer explained that when the elephants were very young and much smaller he used the same size rope to tie them up, and it held them so they couldn’t get away.

As they grew up, they had been conditioned to believe that they still couldn’t escape, and that the rope would still hold them, so they never tried to get away.

The elephants were limited their beliefs and remained STUCK!

Just like these elephants with their limiting beliefs, have you always believed that writing a personal history is only for people who are writers, OR people who have had an exciting life, OR people who have no bad things to write about, OR people who have lots of time on their hands, OR people who love genealogy, OR…..?? These are thoughts that will keep you stuck and frozen.

Well, it’s time to let go of those beliefs and set yourself free from those thoughts BECAUSE they are outdated and there is a simple way to write your stories…

  1. Break your memories up into short stories.

  2. Pick one story (the one that you are most excited to write about).

  3. Write the story like you would tell a good friend.

  4. Give your story a fun title.

  5. Save your story.

  6. Write another story, and so on…

If you are a beginner…I am here to help you. I was once a beginner and I have helped over 100 people who were beginners. I would love to help you too.

I know you can do this!
